Dr. Chan is the Head of Investor Relations of C C Land Holdings Limited (stock

Executive Chairman of Chinese Big Data Society and Chairman of Hong Kong Road Safety Association.
Professor Hung was appointed as one of the Global Council Members of the World Summit Awards, an

Jingjing Jiang is a Partner in the Corporate and Securities Group of King & Wood
Mallesons in Hong Kong and head of Hong Kong Funds Team. He is also the founding president of the Hong
Kong LPF Association.
Jingjing’s practice includes formation of all types of private funds including private equity, buyout,
venture capital, real estate, infrastructure, fund of funds, credit, debt and mezzanine, secondary and
hedge funds. He is also experienced in advising fund managers on separately managed accounts,
co-investment and carried interest structuring and is familiar with fund structures in all major
jurisdictions, including Cayman Islands, Mauritius, Singapore, the Channel Islands, the United Kingdom,

associations, Jingjing has spoken on over twenty conferences and webinars on Hong Kong LPF and family
office topics and has been involved in the setup of nearly 100 LPFs so far. He co-authored a number of
articles and newsletters introducing LPF and related topics promoting LPF and the asset management
industry in Hong Kong.

Dr Tung is the Director, Head of Policy Research for the Financial Services Development Council (FSDC). He
leads the team responsible for conducting policy research and industry surveys for the formulation of
proposals to the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government and financial regulators.
Prior to joining the FSDC, Dr Tung was the Director of Capital Markets Policy for CFA Institute, covering
research areas related to capital market structures (e.g. corporate governance, regulatory environment) in
the Asia Pacific region. Before that, he was the Senior Economist for the Hong Kong General Chamber of
Commerce, where he oversaw its macroeconomic research, as well as labour- and international trade- related
policy research functions. He also served as an economist and a research analyst for banks, a trade credit
insurer and a Hong Kong-based think-tank.
Dr Tung holds a doctoral degree in organisational leadership from the Northeastern University in Boston. He
received a Master’s degree and a Bachelor’s degree, both in Economics, from the University of Hong Kong and
the University of Wisconsin – Madison, respectively.

David Wong is the Head of Greater Bay Area Business Development team of Invest Hong
Kong. He is responsible for, among other things, attracting international companies to set up in the

Chee Weng is Tricor’s Global Head of Tax based in Hong Kong. He has over 30 years’ tax and business
experience with deep knowledge and understanding of the tax considerations throughout the entire life
cycle of companies in Real Estate and Hospitality, Consumer Products and Retail, Technology Financial
Institutions and Family Oﬃces.
He works on cross border issues, tax compliance and reporting, legal entity rationalization, obtaining
advance tax rulings, corporate restructuring and managing tax controversies. He also focuses on the tax
impact on businesses as they embark on their Digital Journey and works with them to transform their
Finance and Tax Functions to ensure their readiness for e-ﬁling with the Tax Authorities.
In the area of Family Oﬃces, he works with Private Clients to conceptualize and implement tax structures
for their preferred jurisdiction.
Chee Weng is a Certified Tax Adviser, TIHK, CPA (Practicing), HKICPA, and a Fellow of the Australian

Michael is a widely experienced lawyer who has practised for more than 25 years. A large part of
Michael's legal practice involved corporate and trust structures, assisting clients with asset
protection, estate and family succession and tax planning.
Previously, Michael was the Executive Director of a major trust company, providing advice on the
structuring, establishment and ongoing administration of onshore and offshore trusts, estate and family
succession plans, family ofﬁce governance, Pre-IPO trusts, Employee Beneﬁt Trusts and Employee Share
Option Plans. He has extensive experience with multiple onshore and offshore trust jurisdictions,
including Hong Kong, Singapore, BVI, Cayman, Jersey, Guernsey, Labuan, New Zealand and Samoa, as well as
different types of trust structures.
Michael holds a New Zealand law degree, is a current Executive Committee member, and was formerly
Chairman of the Hong Kong Trustees' Association (“HKTA”). He is Co-chairman of the China Development
Sub-Committee of the HKTA jointly with STEP Hong Kong. He is also a member of the Hong Kong Trade
Development Council Financial Services Advisory Committee and also on the Hong Kong Monetary Authority’s

Ranjit has over 33 years’ experience in the fields of risk management, internal audit and forensic
accounting. He was a member of the Board of Directors of Global Institute of Internal Auditors (“IIA”)
for the term 2017 to 2021. He was also a member of the Global IIA Audit Committee, IIA’s International
Internal Audit Standards Board, President of ACIIA and President of the IIA Malaysia.

Dr. Veerinderjeet Singh was appointed by Tricor as Non-Executive Chairman of the Malaysian Group in May
2020. In his role, Dr. Veerinderjeet Singh acts as an advisor in areas of complex tax advisory, supports
business development, mentors executives, develops positive relations with governments across Tricor’s
global offices and serves as an ambassador for the Tricor name and brand.
Dr. Veerinder has over 39 years of experience in tax matters and is a noted authority on Malaysian
taxation. He has served as a Tax Partner/Executive Director at Arthur Andersen and Ernst & Young in
Malaysia and has also served in the Malaysian Inland Revenue Department. His experience in the tax
profession involves serving as an Inland Revenue Officer, academician, consultant, author and tax
observer. He was a co-Founder and Chairman of Taxand Malaysia Sdn Bhd (later renamed as Tricor Taxand
Sdn Bhd), a boutique tax advisory firm which is a member of the Taxand Global organisation of
independent tax firms in nearly 50 countries. He is also a Board member of Taxand Global.
He has advised multinationals, quasi-Government agencies, financial institutions and other companies on
various tax matters including incentives, restructuring and listing exercises and has also been involved
in providing input to the Malaysian Ministry of Finance on various tax reforms and

He has been a business owner for over 15 years and has over 15 years of active involvement in

educators, the business community and the public. He has been involved in serving on the boards of
